Please find below details- Job Title: Store Officer Department: Supply Chain / Logistics Location: Urse (Pune) Reports To: Store Manager / Logistics Manager The Store Officer is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the company's store, ensuring efficient inventory control, proper storage of materials, and timely distribution of materials to production and other departments. The role includes overseeing the receipt, storage, and dispatch of raw materials, tools, and finished goods, ensuring compliance with company policies and health and safety regulations. Key Responsibilities: Inventory Management: Maintain accurate stock records, update inventory data, and ensure that stock levels are optimized. Regularly monitor stock levels and coordinate with the procurement team to order materials before they run out. Conduct periodic physical stock audits to reconcile discrepancies between physical and system stock levels. Material Handling: Supervise the receipt, inspection, and proper storage of raw materials, components, and finished products. Ensure materials are stored safely, and are easily accessible for production teams. Oversee loading and unloading of goods, ensuring proper handling and minimizing damage. Issuance of Materials: Issue materials to various departments (production, maintenance, etc.) based on requisitions and production schedules. Maintain records of issued materials, ensuring that proper documentation is provided for tracking purposes. Record Keeping & Documentation: Maintain accurate records of materials received, stored, and issued, using both manual and computerized systems (e.g., ERP systems). Generate daily, weekly, and monthly stock reports and inventory audits for management. Ensure proper documentation of all stock movements and manage the necessary paperwork for incoming and outgoing shipments. Quality Control: Ensure that all received materials conform to quality standards and specifications, and report any discrepancies or damaged goods to the quality control team. Oversee the proper handling of hazardous materials, ensuring compliance with safety protocols. Compliance and Safety: Ensure compliance with the companys policies, health and safety regulations, and industry standards. Maintain a clean and organized store environment, reducing the risk of accidents and inventory loss. Ensure the safe and proper disposal of obsolete or expired materials. Coordination: Coordinate with other departments (procurement, production, quality control) to align material needs with production schedules and forecasts. Work closely with the purchasing team to address supply shortages or delays.
