Warehouse / Store Manager (Footwear)

Industry & Sector:

• Lead day-to-day on-site store and warehouse operations for assigned footwear location(s): receiving, put-away, replenishment, order fulfilment and merchandising.
• Own inventory integrity—execute cycle counts, reconcile discrepancies, drive shrinkage reduction and maintain high stock accuracy through disciplined processes and WMS use.
• Manage team performance: hire, train, schedule and coach store associates, pickers and warehouse staff to meet SLAs and KPI targets (OTIF, stock accuracy, order lead-time).
• Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, vendor receipts, quality checks and returns processing to ensure timely stock flow across channels.
• Optimize merchandising, planograms and stock allocation to improve sell-through, reduce ageing SKUs and enhance in-store customer experience.
• Implement and enforce safety, loss-prevention and operational SOPs; control operating costs and ensure compliance with local labour and regulatory requirements.
  

Skills & Qualifications

Must-Have

• 3+ years experience managing on-site retail store and warehouse operations—preferably in footwear, apparel or FMCG/CPG categories.
• Hands-on experience with inventory control, cycle counting and a WMS or ERP (SAP/Oracle/other) plus strong MS Excel skills.
• Proven team leadership, scheduling and hands-on problem solving in a fast-paced retail environment; strong verbal communication in English and local language.
  

Preferred

• Familiarity with omni-channel fulfilment, barcode/RFID systems and SKU-level merchandising strategies.
• Experience owning P&L levers, driving cost controls, reporting KPIs and working with 3PL vendors.
• Certifications or training in warehouse safety, logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
