Core Roles & Responsibilities1. Inventory Management Monitor stock levels and maintain accurate inventory records Handle stock receipts, storage, and dispatch Prevent stock shortages, damage, or overstocking 2. Warehouse Operations Supervise loading and unloading of goods Ensure proper storage, labeling, and handling of materials Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse 3. Documentation & Reporting Prepare delivery challans, GRNs, and stock registers Update inventory in ERP or warehouse management systems Generate daily/weekly stock and dispatch reports 4. Team Coordination Guide warehouse assistants, helpers, and loaders Assign daily tasks and ensure timely completion Coordinate with logistics, purchase, and sales teams 5. Quality & Safety Compliance Ensure goods meet quality standards before dispatch Follow safety rules and warehouse SOPs Reduce losses due to damage or mishandling 6. Dispatch & Logistics Support Plan and track outbound shipments Ensure timely dispatch as per delivery schedules Coordinate with transporters and drivers 7. Cost & Efficiency Control Minimize wastage and handling time Improve space utilization and workflow efficiency Skills Required Knowledge of inventory systems Basic computer and Excel skills Good organizational and communication skills Ability to supervise workers and handle pressure
