Vice President, Managed Print Services Technical Infrastructure Lead

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of Vice President, Managed Print Services Technical Infrastructure Lead to join our Production Services – Workplace Technology Services team. This role is located in Chennai.

Role Overview

The Technical Infrastructure Lead for Managed Print Services ensures 24×7 availability, security, and performance of BNY’s global print environment. This includes ownership of vulnerability remediation, change management, vendor relationships, and drive modernization initiatives to shift the firm toward more digitized output solutions.

In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:

  • Serve as SME and single point of contact for all print infrastructure related incidents, enabling rapid response and service recovery.
  • Oversee infrastructure changes including product/platform upgrades, performance enhancements and end-of-life management.
  • Identify and track vulnerabilities across the global print environment; drive remediation to meet compliance timelines.
  • Consistently ensure the applications supported are fully compliant to the firm’s technical operational guidelines
  • Maintain and update runbooks, configuration documentation and DR plans in line with Risk & Audit requirements.
  • Manage external print administration vendors, ensuring global service level adherence and high-quality support.
  • Provide technical direction and oversight of vendor-initiated Change Management and DR activities.
  • Design and implement managed print solutions that meet key business requirements.
  • Lead modernization programs: introduce rapid time-to-market capabilities, digitization and reduce reliance on physical printing.
  • Develop short- and long-term technical strategies for the print estate, ensuring the transformational changes are delivered on schedule.
  • Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, including acting as the delivery focal point for print-centric projects.
  • Manage risks across Production and Disaster Recovery environments.
  • Complete all compliance and administrative functions accurately and on time.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related discipline (advanced degree preferred)
  • 5–7 years’ experience in infrastructure/application management, including 3–4 years in application ownership
  • Proven track record supporting secure, enterprise-scale print services (financial services a plus)
  • Hands-on experience with industry leading print solutions such as Equitrac, Output Manager, Kofax AutoStore, Red Titan, CA Dispatch, mainframe workflow automation or equivalent solutions
  • Strong understanding of application architecture, end-to-end onboarding (Permit to Design Build
  • Operate)
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools (MoogSoft, Splunk), network/server support and their print interactions
  • Excellent problem-solving, product-design and project-management capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and vendor-management skills
