As an experienced candidate in the solar energy industry, you will play a crucial role in driving the growth of the company through strategic business development initiatives. Your responsibilities will include: - Identifying and developing new business opportunities within the solar energy sector, with a focus on Commercial and Industrial sectors. - Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders such as clients, electrical consultants, PMC, and regulatory bodies. - Conducting market research to identify new trends, competitors, and potential projects. - Leading the end-to-end sales cycle, including proposal submissions, presentations, negotiations, and contract closures. - Working closely with technical teams to ensure the feasibility and technical soundness of proposed projects. - Developing and executing strategies to expand the company's presence in the market and increase revenue streams. - Providing detailed reports on business development activities, market analysis, and competitor performance to senior management. - Collaborating with internal teams to ensure timely project delivery and high levels of customer satisfaction. - Attending industry events, conferences, and trade shows to promote the company's services and products. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications: - Minimum 10-12 years of experience in the solar energy industry, with a proven track record in business development, sales, and project management. - Strong understanding of solar power technologies, installation processes, and relevant industry regulations. - Experience in managing and leading sales cycles from prospecting to closing, including negotiation and contract management. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, and internal teams. - Ability to work independently and as part of a cross-functional team. - Strong analytical skills and the ability to make data-driven decisions. - Willingness to travel as required. - MBA, Bachelors degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field (preferred). - Previous experience with Solar Company, project bids, or solar EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. Additionally, preferred skills for this role include: - Knowledge of solar industry trends and market dynamics in the Rajasthan region. - Strong network within the local solar industry, including key stakeholders, contractors, and regulators.
