Role Description -

As a key team member, Head- Deals & Partnerships will be instrumental in identifying, evaluating, and sourcing groundbreaking investment opportunities for Equentis recently launched Rs500cr Cat-I Angel Fund.

This role offers a rare chance to be part of a vibrant team and significantly impact the growth and success of some of the most promising Indian startups.

Key Responsibilities -

● Deal Sourcing - Identify and source potential investment opportunities through:

• Networking, Industry events

• Market-research

• Maintaining relationships with entrepreneurs, incubators

• Forging tieups with boutique investment bankers, industry experts and consultants

• Social Media platforms like LinkedIn, Facebook, etc

● Evaluation and Analysis - Work closely with the Senior Management and Investment Team of

Equentis to understand the mandates, discuss the same with bankers & prospective companies looking to raise funds and thereon coordinate in the due diligence process and execution.

● Maintaining the Pipeline - Build and maintain a strong pipeline of high-quality investment

opportunities.

● Monitor & Exit- Work closely with portfolio cos to provide support and monitor their performance and lay the path for a successful exit.

Required Skills and Qualifications -

● Educational Background - MBA/CA/CFA preferred

● Professional Experience - 3-7 Years in Investment Banking, corporate finance, Venture Capital, Startup

ecosystem

● Technical Skills – Powerpoint, Excel

● Analytical Skills - Strong Analytical Skills

● Communication Skills - Strong communication skills (both verbal and written)

● Strong network within the startup and venture capital community in India.

● Understanding of the Indian startup ecosystem and key industry sectors.
