Overview

We are seeking an exceptional and strategically minded

Vice President, Global Sales

to lead the commercial efforts for our

Sustainability Line of Business (LOB)

, with a key focus on driving the adoption and revenue of Sustainable solutions through various areas leveraging our proprietary platform,

ForestTwin

. This senior leadership role is responsible for driving revenue growth, developing high-impact sales strategies, and expanding our market presence across India and key global regions. The ideal candidate will be a visionary sales leader with deep domain expertise in the sustainability and ESG landscape, a proven track record of selling complex services,

carbon credit projects

, and

digital platform solutions

, and the ability to manage and motivate a high-performing global sales team.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Leadership & Sales Execution

Develop and Execute Global Sales Strategy:

Formulate and execute a comprehensive global sales strategy to achieve ambitious revenue targets for the entire Sustainability LOB, focusing on both the Indian and international markets.

Drive Revenue Growth:

Personally lead and close significant strategic deals, establishing and maintaining relationships with C-level executives and key decision-makers at target clients.

Market Expansion:

Identify, evaluate, and prioritize new market opportunities and client segments globally, developing tailored go-to-market plans for each.

Pipeline Management:

Oversee the entire sales pipeline, from lead generation and qualification to proposal development, negotiation, and contract closure, ensuring accuracy and predictability in sales forecasting.

Digital Platform Sales and Adoption (ForestTwin)

Lead Platform Commercialization:

Be the global champion for the

ForestTwin

platform, driving its commercial success across all target markets.

Sell End-to-End Solutions:

Successfully sell the

ForestTwin

platform as a unique, one-stop solution for the

entire carbon credit value chain

(origination, verification, trading, and reporting).

Monetize Marketplace:

Drive transactional revenue from the platform’s function as a

marketplace for agro commodities

useful for sustainable agricultural growth.

Integrate Platform & Service Sales:

Articulate the combined value proposition of our expert sustainability consulting services with the cutting-edge capabilities of the ForestTwin platform.

Domain Expertise & Proposition Development

Subject Matter Authority:

Maintain and apply expert-level knowledge of the evolving global sustainability regulatory environment and competitive landscape.

Carbon Market Expertise:

Demonstrate and apply deep commercial knowledge in the sale of diverse

Carbon Credit Projects

(Nature-Based Solutions, Technology-Based, etc.) and advisory services, leveraging

ForestTwin

as the delivery mechanism.

Service Portfolio Sales:

Successfully sell and articulate the value of a complex portfolio of sustainability services, including:

Climate & Reporting:

CDP, BRSR, CB, TCFD/CSRD, ESG Reporting

and

Gap Analysis

.

Decarbonization & Accounting:

GHG Accounting (Scope 1, 2, & 3)

,

Carbon Credits/Market Mechanisms

, and

Power Trading/PPA Advisory

.

Risk & Compliance:

EUDR, Biodiversity Risk Assessment

, and

CSR Strategy

.

Technical Studies:

LCA Studies

and other environmental due diligence.

Team Leadership & Development

Build and Mentor a Global Team:

Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a high-caliber, geographically dispersed sales team, ensuring they are proficient in selling both services and the

ForestTwin

platform.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

Act as the primary interface between Sales, Product Development (for ForestTwin), and Delivery teams.

Qualifications

Experience

Minimum 15+ years

of total professional experience, with

at least 10 years

in a commercial or sales leadership role specifically within the

sustainability, ESG, or climate-tech consulting/services space.

Mandatory Expertise:

Proven, hands-on experience in

selling different types of carbon credit projects

(voluntary and/or compliance market) and related advisory services.

Platform Sales Track Record:

Demonstrated success in selling

complex B2B SaaS, PaaS, or digital marketplace solutions

to large enterprises, ideally in the sustainability, commodities, or supply chain domain.

Minimum 5+ years

in a senior leadership role (e.g., VP, Global Head of Sales) with responsibility for multi-million-dollar quotas and managing a global or multi-regional sales team.

Proven track record of exceeding sales targets

in both

India

and

global markets

(e.g., North America, Europe, APAC).

Education & Skills

Required:

Bachelor’s, Masteres / PHD in Business, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related field. An advanced degree (MBA, Master's in Sustainability) is highly preferred.

Technical Acumen:

High degree of comfort and proficiency in understanding and demonstrating a sophisticated digital platform like ForestTwin.

Communication:

Exceptional verbal, written, and presentation skills; ability to simplify complex technical concepts into compelling business value propositions.

Travel:

Ability to travel domestically and internationally as required to meet clients and support global teams.
