Vice President - Financing Securities MO

As the Vice President - Financing Securities MO at Barclays, your role will involve ensuring processing is of the highest standard, meeting agreed SLAs, and being mindful of risk, efficiency, budget, and personal conduct. You will be responsible for managing client trade activity related to both Equity and Fixed Income products, overseeing daily trade processing, and interacting with both internal and external clients. Additionally, you will work closely with various teams to ensure daily reconciliations and control activities are completed successfully. **Key Responsibilities:** - Overseeing the team's daily trade processing across all financing & billing activities. - Ensuring proper capture of trades in the firm's in-house systems and manually entering pending root cause analysis and remediation when necessary. - Identifying inter/intra system exceptions stemming from breakdowns in trade lifecycle processing. - Investigating the root cause of issues and determining strategic solutions. - Multi-tasking requests from several clients while providing superior client service. - Creating strategies to enhance client service. **Qualifications Required:** - Experience in people and process management. - Ability to work collaboratively with teams such as Trading Desk, Sales, settlements, Finance, Collateral, Margin Compliance, and Legal. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. In this role, you will manage operations within a business area to maintain processes, risk management initiatives, and compliance with relevant regulators. Your responsibilities will include identifying trends, collaborating with stakeholders, managing operational professionals, and developing KPIs to measure effectiveness. If you have leadership responsibilities, you are expected to contribute to strategy setting, drive requirements for change, manage policies and budgets, and deliver continuous improvements. Additionally, you will advise key stakeholders, manage and mitigate risks, and demonstrate leadership in managing risk and strengthening controls.
