This role serves as the primary liaison between the institution and corporate entities, responsible for building and maintaining partnerships to support student placements, internships, fundraising, and collaborative projects.
As a key member of the University’s Senior Leadership Council, the Vice President provides strategic direction and leadership to strengthen the University’s positioning and reputation. This role oversees the University Relations portfolio, ensuring alignment with institutional priorities and long-term goals.
1) Provide leadership on overall institutional positioning and reputation management, with a focus on risk management in public affairs.
2) Define and implement the strategic direction for all University Relations functions, including communications, marketing, corporate relations, and stakeholder engagement.
3) Develop and expand corporate partnerships across key regions to enhance student placement and internship opportunities.
4) Drive achievement of placement targets by aligning career opportunities with students’ aspirations and academic strengths.
5) Enhance student–industry engagement through guest lectures, workshops, and career-focused events.
6) Lead, mentor, and build the Corporate Relations team to deliver on strategic goals.
7) Oversee the University’s communications and marketing strategies, campaigns, and creative initiatives.
8) Advise and support the President on pan-University initiatives of strategic importance.
9) Collaborate with academic, administrative, and service divisions to strengthen their external relations and outreach efforts.
1) Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in corporate relations, business development, or a related field.
2) Demonstrated expertise in managing and expanding corporate partnerships across diverse regions and industries.
3) Exceptional communication, negotiation, and influencing skills with a proven ability to build strong stakeholder relationships.
4) Proven leadership experience in managing, mentoring, and developing high-performing teams.
5) Strong understanding of global business cultures, industry dynamics, and corporate practices.
