Job Description

Position Title: Vendor Management Associate

Section & Department: Operations

Immediate Head: Vendor Management Team Leader

Role Summary:

As a Vendor Management Associate, your role revolves around managing relationships with external vendors to ensure seamless business operations and service delivery. Responsibilities include vendor selection, contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and risk management. Your focus is on building positive vendor relationships, ensuring compliance, and optimizing vendor management processes to support Avvanz's objectives in the Background Screening industry.

Job Scope / Principal Accountabilities:

  • Assist with the onboarding of new vendors, ensuring they understand Avvanz's requirements, service level agreements (SLAs), and data security protocols.
  • Maintain and manage vendor contracts, ensuring adherence to terms and conditions, pricing accuracy, and timely renewals.
  • Monitor vendor performance against established metrics outlined in SLAs. You will generate reports and identify areas for improvement or potential cost savings.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned vendors, fostering strong relationships and clear communication to ensure smooth collaboration. This may involve resolving issues, addressing concerns, and coordinating with internal teams as needed.
  • Ensure vendor compliance with Avvanz's data security policies and relevant industry regulations. This may involve conducting audits and maintaining records.
  • Assist with researching and identifying potential new vendors that meet Avvanz's requirements and can contribute to our service offerings.
  • Ensure related compliance requirements are addressed, e.g., privacy, security, and administrative regulations associated with Information and privacy management systems, are followed in Singapore HQ and the Philippines site.

Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills and Competencies required:

  • Possess a minimum of 1-2 years of experience in vendor management, procurement, BPO or Data Entry.
  • Have a strong understanding of contract administration principles and best practices.
  • Be detail-oriented and organized, with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with vendors and internal stakeholders.
  • Be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and comfortable learning new vendor management software.
  • Can start ASAP

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹253,676.40 - ₹752,979.45 per year
