Role Overview:

We are seeking a proactive and organized Service Provider (Vendor) Management Associate to onboard, manage, and coordinate our network of service partners. The ideal candidate should be people-friendly, process-driven, and ready to handle vendor relations, onboarding, documentation, and performance follow-ups in a fast-paced startup environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Vendor Onboarding & Coordination:

  • Identify, verify, and onboard new service providers across various service categories.
  • Collect, verify, and maintain all required documents and agreements.
  • Educate vendors on platform processes, service standards, and compliance guidelines.

Vendor Relationship Management:

  • Act as the point of contact for service providers, addressing queries and resolving operational issues.
  • Track vendor performance, handle escalations, and ensure service quality benchmarks are met.
  • Coordinate periodic meetings, training, and performance reviews with vendors.

Data & Compliance:

  • Maintain up-to-date records of active vendors, agreements, and service areas.
  • Support contract renewals, compliance checks, and timely updates of documentation.
  • Work with the operations and accounts team to ensure timely payments and documentation.

Support Tasks:

  • Assist in field visits when needed to verify services or onboard new partners.
  • Prepare reports on vendor performance, churn, and coverage gaps.
  • Support marketing or promotional activities targeting vendor engagement.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Accounts, or any relevant field.
  • Experience: 1–2 years in vendor management, supply chain coordination, or operations support.
  • Skills:
  • o Good communication skills in Tamil and English.o Basic knowledge of MS Office / Google Sheets.o Strong negotiation and people skills.o Organized with a knack for follow-ups and documentation.o Comfortable with occasional local travel for vendor meets or verification.Behavioral Traits:
  • Relationship-builder with good interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable and detail-oriented.
  • Able to multitask and handle on-ground challenges.
  • Self-starter with a problem-solving attitude.
