What you can gain: • work on projects that push the boundaries of technology for a diversity of industries, touch-points, and mediums • exposure to and involvement with many parts of the design process: research, collaborative brainstorming, storyboarding, macro and micro interaction designing, kinematics and prototyping, working with engineering • work with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures • experience the entire journey of the product lifecycle from ideas on the whiteboard to its functioning in reality, and moments that allow the community to pause and connect • nurture yourself as an expert consultant Value you can achieve: • championing the product vision and experience • wear multiple hats; from being a team lead, to a team player, and an individual contributor • shaping desirable, feasible, and viable experience design outcomes strategically aligning business, product, and user goals • taking a methodical approach that uses empathy, innovative thinking, and a analytical mindset to solve critical business problems • exploring divergent concepts, and converging meaningful insights for weaving practical and delightful product experiences What will be needed: • a passionate design practitioner, who is self taught or with bachelors/masters degree in design • 1- 3 years and above of relevant industry experience with a strong showcase of shipping B2B(preferred) and B2C products • a good listener, receptive to feedback, and clear in articulating the impact of your design in verbal and visual presentation i.e. flows, information and navigation systems, storyboards, wireframes, clickable prototypes • collaborate with UI development teams for an accurate implementation of the envisioned ideas keeping in mind industry best practices for performance, adaptability, and accessibility • be proficient in designing experiences for multiple platforms (desktop, web, mobile) • be conversant with the digital product industry landscape, the experience design trends and its mindful application in your design solutions • have the ability to seamlessly work from remote locations, and with remote cross-functional teams, in an agile environment • be proficient with popular design, collaboration, and prototyping tools (Figma, Sketch, Invision, etc) • active interest and demonstrated experience in thought leadership (events, conferences, webinars, papers, blogs, etc.) Show more Show less
