Craft intuitive, visually engaging interfaces and end-to-end user experiences for Palmonas e-commerce
platform, retail dashboards and customer touchpoints; drive consistency through a scalable design system
and champion user-centered design across teams.
Detailed Responsibility:
● Lead the full design lifecycle: from user research (surveys, interviews, usability tests) through
wireframing, prototyping and high-fidelity mockups
● Develop and maintain a cohesive design system (components, patterns, guidelines) in Figma or
Sketch
● Create interactive prototypes to validate flows and gather stakeholder feedback prior to
development
● Collaborate closely with product managers, engineers and analysts to translate requirements and
data insights into delightful experiences
● Conduct A/B testing or usability studies to measure and iterate on design effectiveness
● Ensure all UI deliverables meet accessibility standards (WCAG) and responsive design best
practices
● Document design decisions, maintain version control and support developer handoffs with clear
specs
Job related (Functional/ Technical) Behavioral Competencies:
● Expert in Figma, Sketch or Adobe XD; proficiency in prototyping tools
● Strong understanding of UX research methods, information architecture and interaction design
● Familiarity with HTML/CSS fundamentals and developer handoff workflows
● Empathetic, user-obsessed mindset with strong visual communication skills
● Collaborative, feedback-driven approach and ability to articulate design rationale clearly
● Mandatory
o 3–5 years of professional UI/UX design experience, ideally with consumer-facing web and
mobile products
o Portfolio showcasing end-to-end design projects, including user research and iterative
refinements
● Desirable -
o Experience building or scaling a design system in a startup environment
o Exposure to e-commerce or retail technology interfaces
● Mandatory -Bachelor’s in Engineering, Business, Design or related
