Job Title: Travel Sales Head (M.I.C.E.) Location: Gurugram Department: Sales & Business Development Reporting To: Director Employment Type: Full-Time Company Overview Medallin Sports is a market leader in travel and experiential event management, delivering tailor-made services in M.I.C.E., sports tourism, and corporate travel. With a proven track record in managing large-scale group movements and high-impact events, we cater to global clients with efficiency, creativity, and strategic insight. Position Summary We are looking for a highly driven and experienced Travel Sales Head (M.I.C.E.) to lead our B2B and corporate sales efforts in the meetings, incentives, conferences, and exhibitions segment. The ideal candidate will have strong industry relationships, excellent business acumen, and a consultative sales approach to unlock strategic accounts and drive sustainable revenue growth. Key Responsibilities Strategic Sales Leadership: Drive business development across corporate, agency, and institutional clients focused on M.I.C.E. travel solutions. Identify high-value opportunities and develop strategic plans to close complex B2B deals. Own the complete sales cycle – from lead generation to contract closure. Client & Account Management: Build and maintain deep, trust-based relationships with senior stakeholders across client organizations. Develop tailored travel programs aligned with client objectives, budgets, and brand ethos. Ensure high retention and account growth through exceptional service delivery and proactive engagement. Product & Proposal Development: Work with internal teams to conceptualize customized itineraries, group movements, and thematic travel solutions. Prepare and present impactful sales proposals, budgets, and destination strategies. Team Collaboration & Leadership: Guide and mentor junior sales staff; foster a high-performance culture within the team. Coordinate with operations, marketing, and supplier teams to ensure seamless execution of client programs. Market Insights & Representation: Stay updated on travel industry trends, competitive landscape, and destination innovations. Represent the company at trade shows, industry forums, and networking events to enhance brand visibility. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business, Hospitality, Tourism, or a related field; MBA preferred. 10-12 years of progressive experience in travel sales, with a core focus on M.I.C.E. or group travel. Proven track record of meeting or exceeding large sales targets. Strong network of corporate and institutional clients. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects and high-value accounts. Proficiency in CRM platforms and Microsoft Office Suite. Willingness to travel for client meetings, events, and on-ground recce.
