Job Title: Senior Manager - Sports Sponsorships & Partnerships Location: Gurugram Department: Commercial & Partnerships Reports To: League CEO Type: Full-time Role Summary: We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Senior Manager – Sponsorships & Partnerships to lead and manage strategic sponsorship and partnership initiatives for our premier sports league. The ideal candidate will serve as the key liaison between sponsors, broadcasters, franchises, and media agencies, ensuring flawless execution of partnership deliverables and maximizing brand value for all stakeholders. Key Responsibilities: Sponsorship Management: Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive sponsorship strategies to drive revenue and brand alignment. Act as the primary point of contact for all league and franchise sponsors. Oversee the end-to-end delivery of sponsorship obligations, including branding, activations, hospitality, and digital assets. Ensure all contractual obligations are met in a timely and professional manner. Broadcast & Media Liaison: Work closely with the league's broadcast partner to integrate sponsorship elements within live and non-live programming. Coordinate with media agencies for campaign planning, co-branded content, and media buying strategies aligned with sponsor expectations. Franchise Collaboration: Coordinate with franchise teams to ensure uniform delivery of central and franchise-specific sponsorship assets. Develop best practices and shared resources for franchise-level sponsor activations and reporting. Cross-functional Coordination: Liaise with internal departments including marketing, digital, operations, and legal to ensure consistent and efficient execution of partnership deliverables. Prepare and deliver detailed sponsor performance reports and ROI analyses. New Business Development: Identify, pitch, and secure new sponsorship opportunities in alignment with league values and objectives. Collaborate on the creation of sponsorship decks, proposals, and sales materials. Key Requirements: 8–12 years of experience in sponsorship management, brand partnerships, or business development within sports, entertainment, or media. Proven track record of managing high-value sponsorship accounts and executing complex deliverables. Strong network within media agencies, broadcasters, and brand ecosystems. Excellent project management, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Understanding of sports league ecosystems and franchise models is highly desirable. Ability to manage multiple partners, deadlines, and deliverables under pressure. Skills & Competencies: Strategic thinking with a commercial mindset Relationship building and interpersonal skills Strong verbal and written communication Proficiency in MS Office, CRM tools, and project management platforms A passion for sports and knowledge of sports marketing trends Preferred Qualifications: MBA in Marketing, Sports Management, or a related field Experience working in a league/franchise environment or with broadcast media is a strong plus Show more Show less
