We are hiring for Travel Desk Consultant, for our organization in Wadala.


Position Summary: Hindustan Platinum is seeking a highly organized and experienced Travel Desk Executive with a valid IATA Certification and a proven track record of managing domestic and international travel for corporate employees. The incumbent will be responsible for end-to-end travel arrangements, ensuring cost-effectiveness, compliance with company policies, and a seamless travel experience for all employees.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Manage and coordinate domestic and international travel arrangements for employees, including flight bookings, hotel accommodations, visas, forex, insurance, and ground transportation.
  • Ensure all travel bookings are cost-effective, adhere to company travel policies, and meet quality standards.
  • Liaise with travel agencies, airlines, hotels, aggregators, and other vendors to negotiate competitive rates and secure bookings.
  • Handle visa application processes, ensuring timely submission and approval for international travel.
  • Maintain updated travel records, itineraries, and expense documentation for audits and reporting purposes.
  • Provide support for urgent travel-related issues, including changes, cancellations, or emergencies.
  • Monitor and manage the company’s travel budget in collaboration with the finance team.
  • Keep abreast of global travel advisories, airline policies, and industry best practices to ensure traveler safety and compliance.
  • Coordinate group travel for corporate events, training programs, exhibitions, and conferences. Generate periodic reports on travel expenses, vendor performance, and policy compliance.


Qualifications & Experience:


  • Mandatory: IATA Certification (International Air Transport Association).
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in managing international corporate travel.
  • Hands-on experience in using travel aggregators and booking platforms such as MakeMyTrip, Yatra, Expedia, Booking.com, etc.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation skills. Proficiency in using travel booking tools, GDS (Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre), and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Knowledge of visa processes, travel regulations, and international ticketing procedures.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • High level of accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to work under pressure. Key Competencies
  • Customer service orientation and ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and discretion in handling sensitive travel data.
  • Proactive, resourceful, and flexible approach to travel-related challenges
