TFFI Distribution / MEA Distribution - Corporate Bank TF&L, AVP

• Trade Finance and Lending (TF&L) business in Corporate Bank specializes in providing comprehensive financial solutions to support trade finance activities, Working Capital management, corporate loans, Project Finance, Natural Resource Finance and Export Credit Agency (ECA) financing.
• We are looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented, and experienced professional to join our Trade Finance & Lending Distribution Team.
• In this role, you will play a crucial role with the wider onshore team in distributing loans and trade finance products to investors, ensuring efficient transaction execution, and contributing to the business's growth. You will support de-risking and hedging solutions for trades and a select portfolio of TF&L transactions within the APAC region, from strategy to execution.
• This position offers the chance to work with a global team based in our hubs in New York, London, Germany, Dubai, and Singapore.

Your key responsibilities

• Support themanagement of the global TFFI de-risking book, including active monitoring of exposures, performance, and upcoming maturities.
• Work closely with the regionalDistribution and ICT teamsto:
  • Coordinate investor soundings.
  • Develop and update the investor appetite heatmap across banks and insurers.
  • Assist in origination strategy by providing transparency on available capacity.
• Support execution of bothportfolio risk participations (PRPs)andsingle-transaction de-risking, ensuring correct documentation and approvals.
• Contribute to the implementation of atrue originate-to-distribute model, ensuring timely investor engagement on pipeline deals.
• Coordinate across front, middle, and back-office functions to ensure seamless deal execution, lifecycle management, and investor servicing.
• Maintain and track investor relationship data, support service-level delivery, and identify investor engagement opportunities.
• Collaborate with internal teams (Credit Risk, Legal, Insurance, Structuring, TF&L Sales) on transaction onboarding, pricing, and approval workflows.
• Assist with pitchbooks, term sheets, portfolio dashboards, and internal reports for senior management and investor presentations.
• Monitor regulatory, macroeconomic, and geopolitical developments in key focus regions (e.g. globally for TFFI and MEA for TF&L) relevant to de-risking and credit distribution.

Your skills and experience

• Business or Masters degree
• 35 years of experience in trade finance, distribution, credit risk, or related banking/finance roles.
• Working knowledge ofrisk participations, investor coordination, credit insurance, ECA structures, or structured trade finance products.
• Familiarity with transaction types such as corporate loans, project finance, guarantees, and supply chain finance is highly advantageous.
• Strong analytical and documentation skills; comfort with financial data and working with large datasets.
• Ability to visualize datasets (e.g. via Tableau), create PowerPoint presentations
• Strong technical affinity and ability to write code is a plus
• High attention to detail and self-starter mentality
• Effective communicator with strong English writing and interpersonal skills.
• Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable working with virtual global teams.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks under tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
