Job Title: Test Automation Architect Job Location: New Delhi Exp Range: 5- 13 Years Job Description: Roles, responsibilities, and skills Expected: 1. Automation Framework Development: - Design and develop scalable and maintainable enterprise level automation frameworks. - Implement best practices for test automation to ensure reusability and reliability. 2. Tool Selection and Implementation: - Evaluate, select, and implement appropriate test automation tools. - Stay updated on emerging tools and technologies in the test automation space. - Proficiency in Selenium-Java, UFT and API testing tool like Rest Assured, Postman - Experience in ALM, JIRA or any other test management tools - Experience in implementing CI/CD using Jenkins, Azure DevOps 3. Collaboration and Communication: - Collaborate with project owners and testing teams to understand project requirements. - Showcase automation benefits and progress being achieved to project owners 4. Test Strategy Planning: - Develop and implement a comprehensive test automation strategy. - Define and prioritize test scenarios for automation based on critical business processes. 5. Programming and Scripting: - Possess strong programming skills to write and maintain automated test scripts. - Proficiency in languages like Java, VB - Good to have proficiency in Python, or other commonly used languages in test automation. 6. Continuous Improvement: - Identify areas for continuous improvement in the test automation process. - Implement feedback loops to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. 7. Test Coverage and Analysis: - Ensure comprehensive test coverage through automated tests. - Analyze test results and provide insights for continuous quality improvement. 8. Training and Mentorship: - Provide guidance and mentorship to team members on test automation best practices. - Conduct training sessions to enhance the skills of the testing team. 9. Documentation: - Create and maintain documentation for automation processes, frameworks, and test cases. - Ensure documentation is accessible and understandable to team members. 10. Stay Updated on Industry Trends: - Stay informed about industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in test automation. - Apply innovative solutions to improve automation processes. 11. Risk Assessment: - Identify potential risks in the automated testing process and implement mitigation strategies. - Monitor and address issues to ensure the reliability of automated tests.
