Role Summary As a Territory Sales Manager (TSM), you will be responsible for driving primary and secondary sales, managing distribution channels, and leading a field sales team within the Thrissur territory. The ideal candidate will have experience in FMCG sales, excellent leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the local market. Key Responsibilities - Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the assigned territory. - Build and manage a strong distribution network (stockists, distributors, and retailers). - Monitor market trends and competitor activities to devise strategic actions. - Conduct regular market visits to ensure effective implementation of sales strategies. - Ensure product visibility and availability across key outlets. - Conduct trade promotions and BTL activities to boost brand presence. - Provide regular sales forecasts, reports, and market intelligence to management. Requirements - Bachelors degree in any discipline (MBA in Marketing preferred). - Minimum 1 year of experience in FMCG sales, preferably in the tea or beverage segment. - Proven experience in territory management and distributor handling. - Strong leadership, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. - Sound knowledge of the Thrissur market and surrounding regions. - Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
