Role Summary:

Territory Sales Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute a

  territory sales plan

  to achieve assigned sales targets and business objectives.
• Generate new business opportunities by identifying and engaging with potential industrial clients (manufacturing units, process plants, OEMs, EPCs, etc.).
• Conduct product presentations, technical discussions, and demonstrations for customers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with

  key decision-makers

  , distributors, and channel partners.
• Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable technical solutions.
• Prepare and submit

  quotations, proposals, and tender documentation

  .
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts to close sales within company guidelines.
• Coordinate with internal teams — service, logistics, and finance — to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain accurate records of sales activities in CRM and prepare periodic reports for management review.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in

  Mechanical / Electrical / Instrumentation Engineering

  (preferred).

• 2–7 years

  of experience in

  B2B sales of industrial products or capital equipment

  (e.g., pumps, compressors, valves, automation systems, electrical panels, etc.).
• Proven track record in

  territory or channel sales

  , preferably in manufacturing or process industry segments.
• Strong understanding of

  industrial sales cycles

  , tendering processes, and technical specifications.
• Excellent

  communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

  .
• Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, and achieve targets.
• Proficiency in

  MS Office, CRM tools

  , and report preparation.
• Must possess a

  valid driver’s license

  and be willing to travel within the assigned territory.
