Job Description

Position: Territory Manager

Experience: Minimum 6–8 years, preferably in FMCD industry

Locations: Gurugram/Bangalore


Purpose of the Position

The Territory Manager will be responsible for increasing sales revenues, acquiring new accounts, and maintaining strong customer relationships within an assigned geographical area. The role involves developing sales strategies, analyzing market data, handling customers, and ensuring achievement of sales targets while working independently and collaboratively with internal teams.


Key Responsibilities

Sales & Business Development

  • Develop direct sales within the assigned target group segment.
  • Acquire new accounts while strengthening and growing existing accounts.
  • Devise effective territory sales and marketing strategies through customer research and market analysis.
  • Conduct product demonstrations as part of the sales process.
  • Collect payments from customers in a timely manner.
  • Ensure regular achievement of monthly sales targets.
  • Customer Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong customer relationships to enhance retention and repeat business.
  • Handle customer queries and resolve sales-related challenges promptly.
  • Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through proactive engagement.
  • Sales Analysis & Strategy
  • Analyze sales data to identify efficient sales methods and business opportunities.
  • Provide market feedback to management to improve products, services, and sales strategies.
  • Work independently to achieve territory objectives and support company growth.


Education and Skills Required

Education:

  • B.Tech / B.E. (Mechanical/Electrical)
  • MBA / PGDMA or any other professional qualification

Skills:

  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Strong sales and negotiation skills
  • Knowledge of CRM tools and IT proficiency
  • Ability to work independently and achieve targets


Additional Requirements

  • Dynamic and presentable professional with initiative and enthusiasm
  • Willingness to relocate for any region as required
  • Availability to travel extensively
