Job Title: Tender Manager

Location: Mumbai

Department: Business Development / Tender Management

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and strategic Senior Tender Manager to lead and oversee the tendering process, from bid preparation to submission in terms of consulting tenders. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing large-scale tenders, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams to secure new business opportunities.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the end-to-end process of preparing, reviewing, and submitting tenders and bids for various projects and contracts.

- Develop and implement tender strategies aligned with company objectives and market conditions.

- Coordinate with technical, commercial, legal, and finance teams to gather necessary inputs for tender documents.

- Analyze tender documents, specifications, and requirements to ensure compliance and identify risks and opportunities.

- Prepare comprehensive and competitive technical and commercial proposals.

- Review and negotiate contractual terms and conditions with clients and partners.

- Monitor tender deadlines and ensure timely submission of all documentation.

- Maintain a database of ongoing and past tenders, including success rates and lessons learned.

- Conduct market research to identify new tender opportunities and assess competitive landscape.

- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, partners, and government agencies.

- Provide leadership and guidance to team members involved in the tendering process.

- Ensure compliance with all relevant policies, legal requirements, and quality standards.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Law, or related field; Masters degree preferred.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in tender management, business development, or related roles.

- Proven track record of successful tender submissions and contract wins.

- Strong understanding of the industry-specific tendering process.

- Excellent project management, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to analyze and interpret technical and commercial bid documents.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite, bid management software, and ERP systems.

- Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
