Civil Estimation Manager

Role Overview:

pre-tender and post-tender activities

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and evaluate tender documents, drawings, BOQs, and specifications.
• Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil works, including materials, labour, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Analyse civil material requirements and ensure accurate quantity take-offs.
• Conduct rate analysis based on current market conditions and project requirements.
• Maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers to collect updated market prices.
• Negotiate with vendors to obtain the best possible rates.
• Assist in

• Prepare comparison statements and support management in decision-making.
• Coordinate with project, procurement, and planning teams for seamless estimation and project handover.
• Ensure timely submission of tenders and cost proposals.
• Maintain and update the rate database for materials and labour.
  

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree/Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• 8–15 years of experience in civil estimation or quantity surveying.
• Strong knowledge of civil materials, market pricing, and vendor interactions.
• Proficiency in estimation software, MS Excel, and AutoCAD (added advantage).
• Strong analytical and cost-modelling skills.
• Excellent communication and vendor management skills.
