We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tender Manager to lead our tendering and bidding process for building construction projects. The successful candidate will oversee the preparation, coordination, and submission of competitive tenders, ensuring compliance with client requirements, regulatory standards, and company policies. This role requires a proven track record in construction tender management, strong leadership skills, and the ability to drive winning strategies. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage the end-to-end tendering process including prequalification, bid strategy, costing, technical submissions, and final tender documents. • Review and analyze tender documents, specifications, drawings, and contract conditions to identify risks, opportunities, and resource requirements. • Coordinate with internal departments (estimation, engineering, contracts, legal, finance, and project teams) to prepare accurate cost estimates and technical submissions. • Develop tender strategies, pricing models, and negotiation approaches to maximize win potential and profitability. • Manage communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors to clarify requirements and obtain competitive quotations. • Ensure tender submissions are professionally presented, accurate, and delivered on time. • Conduct post-tender clarifications, negotiations, and presentations with clients and stakeholders. • Maintain and update a database of costs, suppliers, subcontractors, and market intelligence to support future tenders. • Provide input into business development and project pipeline strategies by identifying potential opportunities. • Mentor and guide junior tendering staff to build strong technical and commercial capabilities.
