Position: Tendering & Estimation Engineer

Job Summary:– Tender Estimation will be responsible for identifying, evaluating, and managing tender opportunities, preparing accurate cost estimates, and ensuring timely submission of competitive bids. The role requires coordination with technical, procurement, and factory teams to develop winning proposals while ensuring compliance with client requirements.

Key Responsibilities: Identify relevant tenders from portals, government sites, and other sources. Analyze tender documents, drawings, scope of work, and technical specifications. Coordinate with internal teams to gather required data for preparing estimates. Prepare cost estimates including material, labor, overhead, and logistics. Ensure all tender submissions are accurate, complete, and submitted on time. Maintain tender trackers and documentation for future reference. Build and maintain relationships with vendors, suppliers, and clients for pricing support. Liaise with the technical team to ensure estimation aligns with project feasibility. Monitor competitors’ pricing strategies and market trends. Follow up on submitted tenders to understand results and improve future bids. Conduct customer visits and meetings for tender-related requirements, coordinate for bid submissions, and perform post-bid analysis in case of unsuccessful tenders.

Qualifications & Skills: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical/ Engineering or relevant field (preferred for technical understanding).Experience - 1–3 years of experience in tendering, estimation Skills. Knowledge of tendering processes, costing, and contract terms. Strong documentation skills and tender portals. Good communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
