Tender Manager

A Tender Manager oversees the entire bid process, from finding opportunities to contract award, involving strategy, coordination across departments (sales, legal, finance, tech), risk assessment, document preparation, and ensuring compliance, with key goals to create winning proposals, manage strict deadlines, and secure profitable contracts by analyzing requirements and market trends. Core Responsibilities:

• Process Management: Manages the end-to-end tender lifecycle, from sourcing opportunities to final submission and post-bid negotiation.
• Analysis: Analyzes client requirements, tender documents, specifications, and market trends to develop winning strategies.
• Coordination: Liaises with internal teams (engineering, finance, legal, sales) and external stakeholders to gather data and ensure a comprehensive proposal.
• Strategy & Planning: Develops competitive bid strategies, assesses risks, and defines key win themes for each tender.
• Documentation: Prepares, reviews, and compiles technical and commercial proposals, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely delivery.
• Compliance: Ensures all submissions meet regulatory, legal, company policy, and client requirements.
• Negotiation: Negotiates contract terms and conditions with clients and suppliers.
• Database Management: Maintains records, documentation, and a database of all tender activities.
• Reporting: Monitors tender outcomes and provides feedback for continuous process improvement.
