Job Description: Tender / Bid Manager

Designation: Manager – Tendering & Bids

Department: Projects / EPC / Business Development

Location: Okhla Phase 1, New Delhi

Experience: 2-4 Years (Must have experience in Solar EPC tenders)

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify government/private tenders through various portals and publications.
• Study tender documents (NIT, BOQ, SOW, GCC, SCC) and evaluate technical/commercial feasibility.
• Prepare and submit pre-qualification documents, bids, and tender applications within deadlines.
• Coordinate with finance, technical, HR, purchase, project, and management for documentation support.
• Prepare costing sheets, BOQ pricing, rate analysis, and price bids (with approval).
• Responsible for vendor registration, empanelment, and e-tender portal management.
• Prepare technical writeups, project presentations, company credentials, experience certificates.
• Handle post-bid follow-ups, technical clarifications, negotiation, and LOA acceptance.
• Prepare work contracts, agreement formats, bank guarantees, undertakings, and supporting compliance documents.
• Maintain strict confidentiality, documentation accuracy, and compliance with tender norms.

_ Skills Required_

• Strong knowledge of government tendering portals (e.g., GeM, CPPP, State Portals, PSUs).
• Understanding of BOQ, rate analysis, technical drawings (basic), specifications.
• Knowledge of EMD, BG, PFMS, LD, PBG, NIT & RfP terms.
• Excellent documentation, communication & negotiation skills.
• Advanced MS Excel, PDF editing, e-tender tools, email drafting skills.

• Number of tenders submitted per month/quarter
• Bid accuracy & compliance score
• Tender win success percentage
• Timely submission without rejections
• Quality of documentation and cost optimization
