The Tender Manager will lead and manage the end-to-end tendering process for coal transportation contracts, mining service tenders, wagon loading/unloading, material handling, and steel plant operation service tenders. The role requires strong understanding of mining logistics, government procurement norms, BOQ analysis, cost estimation, and on-ground operational knowledge. Coal India Limited (CIL) SECL/WCL/NCL/MCL/CCL/ECL subsidiaries SAIL, Tata Steel, JSW, Jindal GeM, CPPP, State Mining Departments Review tender scope: coal transportation, OB removal, loading/unloading, CHP/OHP operations, mechanical service, housekeeping, etc. Conduct site assessments and operational feasibility checks Analyze tender BOQ, cost sheet, fuel consumption, manpower, machinery deployment, and logistics planning. Diesel rates Distance (Surface → Siding → Plant) Loading/unloading cycle time Machinery productivity Manpower & statutory compliance costs Prepare technical bids including methodology, safety plan, work execution plan, and equipment list. Coordinate with operations team for realistic cost inputs. Work orders, experience certificates Client performance certificates ISO, PF/ESI, GST, PAN, Balance Sheets Equipment ownership/leasing documents Ensure compliance with mining laws, safety norms, DGMS & environmental requirements. Maintain up-to-date vendor registration with SAIL, CIL subsidiaries, state mining departments, and steel plants.
