Position Overview: The Sales Manager will be responsible for leading the sales team, developing strategic sales plans, and driving revenue growth in both B2B and B2C segments. This role involves overseeing sales operations, building key client relationships, and ensuring market penetration for digital cable TV and broadband services . The ideal candidate should have a strong background in sales management and a proven track record of achieving sales targets. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales Strategy & Business Development Develop and execute strategic sales plans to drive revenue growth. Identify and target new business opportunities in B2B and B2C segments. Ensure high market penetration through effective lead generation and sales conversion strategies. Collaborate with marketing teams to align promotional efforts with sales initiatives. 2. Team Leadership & Performance Management Recruit, train, and mentor a high-performing sales team. Set clear sales targets and monitor individual and team performance. Conduct regular sales meetings, provide guidance, and implement performance improvement strategies. Motivate and coach the sales team to enhance productivity and customer engagement. 3. Account & Client Relationship Management Build and maintain strong relationships with corporate clients, housing societies, and individual customers. Act as the key point of contact for major accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention. Negotiate and close high-value deals, ensuring favorable terms for both the company and clients. 4. Market Analysis & Competitive Intelligence Conduct market research to understand customer needs and industry trends. Monitor competitor activities and adjust sales strategies accordingly. Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior management for strategic decision-making. 5. Reporting & Coordination Prepare and submit detailed sales reports, including performance analysis and revenue forecasts. Work closely with cross-functional teams such as operations, customer service, and technical teams to ensure seamless service delivery. Ensure adherence to company policies and regulatory requirements. Required Skills & Qualifications: Educational Qualification: Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field. MBA preferred. Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in sales, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the broadband or digital cable TV industry. Skills: Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation abilities. Data-driven decision-making and analytical skills. Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite. Knowledge: Comprehensive understanding of the digital cable TV and broadband market in Mumbai. Additional Requirements: Must own a two-wheeler with a valid driving license.
