Job Description: Dealer Network Head Furniture Industry Position Title: Dealer Network Head Department: Sales & Marketing Reports to: Director Location: Ahmedabad Employment Type: Full-time Position Summary: The Dealer Network Head is responsible for leading the development, expansion, and management of the company's dealer network in the furniture industry. This individual will play a crucial role in building relationships with existing dealers, identifying new business opportunities, and overseeing the performance of dealers to ensure the company’s products are effectively distributed, marketed, and sold in target markets. The Dealer Network Head will also ensure that dealers adhere to company standards, represent the brand positively, and meet sales and performance objectives. Key Responsibilities: 1. Dealer Network Development & Management Network Expansion: Identify and onboard new dealers and business partners in key geographical locations to expand the dealer network. Dealer Identification & Selection: Analyze the potential and capability of prospective dealers and conduct due diligence before forming new partnerships. Dealer Performance Evaluation: Regularly evaluate dealer performance and provide guidance to improve their sales, operational standards, and customer service. Dealer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key dealers to drive business growth. Serve as a liaison between the company and its dealer network. 2. Strategic Planning & Execution Sales Strategy Development: Develop and implement sales strategies, targets, and initiatives for the dealer network that align with overall company objectives. Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities for expansion, emerging market trends, and competitive threats. Budgeting & Forecasting: Work with the finance team to develop sales budgets, forecasts, and long-term growth plans for the dealer network. 3. Sales & Revenue Growth Sales Targets: Set and monitor sales targets for the dealer network, ensuring that they are aligned with company goals and growth expectations. Incentive Programs: Design and manage dealer incentive programs to motivate dealers and achieve sales goals. Revenue Tracking: Monitor and analyze sales performance of the dealer network, ensuring optimal product distribution, pricing, and stock availability. 4. Training & Support Dealer Training: Develop and implement training programs for new and existing dealers to enhance their knowledge of the product, sales techniques, and operational procedures. Product Knowledge: Ensure dealers are well-informed about product features, benefits, and competitive advantages to effectively sell the company’s furniture products. Marketing & Sales Support: Provide dealers with necessary marketing materials, promotional campaigns, and sales support tools to enhance their selling efforts. 5. Brand Representation & Compliance Brand Consistency: Ensure that dealers adhere to the company’s branding guidelines, product display standards, and customer service protocols. Compliance Monitoring: Monitor dealer compliance with the terms of the dealer agreement, including pricing policies, promotional activities, and product quality standards. Customer Satisfaction: Oversee dealer commitment to high standards of customer service, ensuring timely resolution of customer complaints and feedback. 6. Reporting & Analytics Performance Reporting: Prepare regular reports on dealer performance, sales trends, and market insights for the senior management team. Market Feedback: Gather and analyze feedback from dealers and customers to identify areas for improvement and innovation in products and services. Competitor Analysis: Keep track of competitor activities, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns to stay ahead of market trends. Skills & Qualifications: Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field. MBA is a plus. 10 - 15 years of experience in sales and dealer network management, preferably in the furniture or home dcor industry. Proven experience in managing large-scale dealer networks and driving business growth. Key Skills: Leadership Skills: Ability to lead, mentor, and motivate a team of sales managers and dealer representatives. Relationship Management: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with dealers, internal teams, and customers. Strategic Thinking: Ability to think strategically and develop long-term plans for network growth and market penetration. Sales & Negotiation Skills: Strong sales acumen with the ability to negotiate contracts and agreements with dealers. Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to address challenges and find effective solutions. Project Management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, with attention to detail and deadlines. Technical Skills: Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word). Experience with sales forecasting, reporting, and analytics tools. Personal Attributes: Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for growth. Excellent communication and presentation skills. Strong negotiation and persuasion skills. A deep understanding of market dynamics and customer behavior in the furniture industry.
