Tele Sales Manager

Role & responsibilities:

1. Team Management & Leadership

• Recruit, train, and manage a team of telesales executives.

• Allocate targets, monitor performance, and provide coaching for achievement.

• Conduct regular performance reviews and motivate the team to achieve sales objectives.

2. Sales & Revenue Generation

• Drive telesales activities to achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets.

• Convert inbound and outbound leads into successful sales closures.

• Upsell and cross-sell insurance products (Motor, Health, Life, General Insurance).

• Track daily/weekly/monthly sales performance and share reports with management.

3. Process & Compliance

• Ensure adherence to insurance broking regulations and IRDAI guidelines.

• Maintain quality standards in customer communication and sales pitch.

• Ensure accurate documentation and timely policy issuance.

4. Customer Relationship Management

• Develop strong customer engagement through effective communication.

• Handle escalations and resolve customer queries effectively.

• Build and maintain long-term client relationships to drive repeat business.

5. Strategy & Reporting

• Contribute to telesales strategies, scripting, and process improvement.

• Analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activity to optimize performance.

• Prepare MIS reports for management review.

Preferred candidate profile:

Strong leadership and team management skills.

• Excellent communication and persuasive selling ability.

• Good knowledge of insurance products (motor, health, and general insurance).

• Target-driven with proven sales track record.

• Analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to train and mentor tele sales staff & Backoffice team.
