Position: Technical Sales Manager

Experience: 6 - 12 Years

Responsibilities:

  • Product Formulation Leadership

  • Lead technical development of PIR, rigid PU, and specialty foam systems for
  • LNG, fire-rated, and cryogenic applications
  • Collaborate with RD and production teams to optimize catalyst blends, polyol systems, and blowing agent strategies
  • Evaluate new additives (flame retardants, surfactants, catalysts) and oversee trial protocols and QC validation
  • Sales Strategy Market Development

  • Drive B2B sales across energy, defense, fertilizer, and export sectors
  • Position Defex s foam systems in tenders, EPC contracts, and OEM supply chains
  • Develop pricing strategies, client proposals, and technical presentations
  • Identify and pursue online tenders, RFQs, and export opportunities via GeM, CPPP, and global platforms
  • Tender Documentation Management

  • Prepare and review BOM sheets, datasheets, QC protocols, and compliance documents
  • Coordinate with legal, finance, and technical teams for tender submissions and export documentation
  • Ensure alignment with IS, ASTM, EN, and export standards (RoHS, REACH, GWP norms)
  • Team Stakeholder Management

  • Lead a cross-functional team of sales engineers, formulation chemists, and documentation executives
  • Set KPIs, monitor performance, and conduct training on PU systems and commercial protocols
  • Liaise with suppliers, clients, and internal teams to ensure timely delivery and technical alignment

Required Skills

  • Deep expertise in polyurethane and PIR foam formulation

  • Strong commercial acumen and B2B sales experience
  • Proficiency in online tender platforms and export documentation
  • Strategic thinking, leadership, and cross-functional coordination
  • Familiarity with ERP, CRM, and MS Office tools

Required Qualification: - B.E/B.Tech - Chemical/Mechanical + MBA - Marketing

Salary :- Upto 18.00 LPA
