Technical Sales Engineer

The Technical Sales Engineer at SMEC Automation Pvt Ltd, Bhubaneswar, Odisha plays a vital role in driving business growth and providing innovative automation solutions to clients. As a part of the dynamic team, you will focus on identifying, engaging, and converting potential leads in industrial automation sectors. Conducting client meetings, managing key accounts, and developing sales strategies to acquire new business will be key responsibilities. Additionally, you will prepare customized proposals, respond to RFQs/RFPs, and build strong relationships with End Users, EPCs, OEMs, and strategic partners. Collaboration with internal technical teams and vendors for material selection, supporting pre-sales activities, and providing technical and commercial inputs throughout project cycles are essential duties. To excel in this role, candidates should hold a Diploma, B.Tech, or B.E. in EEE / EIE / EIC, along with at least 2 years of experience in industrial automation, system integration, or related fields. Training or certification in Industrial Automation is advantageous. A clear understanding of technical sales, RFQ/RFP procedures, and proposal creation is necessary. Proficiency in English communication and presentation, ability to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines, and strong interpersonal and negotiation skills are also required traits.
