Job Description

Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and knowledgeable Technical Sales Engineer to support the sales process by combining technical expertise with excellent communication skills. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between the company’s technical team and the client, helping customers understand the product or service and how it solves their problems. You will be responsible for both pre-sales and post-sales technical support, along with business development. Key Responsibilities: Understand and clearly explain technical features, benefits, and applications of the company’s products/services Identify client requirements and propose customized technical solutions Prepare and deliver technical presentations and product demos to clients Collaborate with the sales team to develop sales strategies and close deals Conduct site visits, client meetings, and product installations when required Provide post-sales support, including training and troubleshooting Prepare quotes, proposals, and technical documentation as needed Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends, competitors, and market conditions Build and maintain long-term customer relationships Work with engineering and product development teams to relay customer feedback Skills and Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field) Proven experience in technical sales, engineering sales, or a similar role Strong technical understanding of the products/services offered Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills Proficiency in MS Office and CRM tools Ability to explain complex technical information to non-technical audiences Willingness to travel for client meetings and on-site support Preferred Qualifications: Experience in industries such as manufacturing, automation, industrial equipment, or IT solutions Knowledge of CAD software, product drawings, or technical documentation (for engineering products) Strong problem-solving and client-handling skills Work Schedule: Full-time Monday to Saturday (may vary based on client requirements) Field-based role with occasional office work and travel We are the dealers of KSB pumps.Looking for a candidate with interest in marketing for pumps, the job requires field work.
