Position: Technical Sales Executive Location: Nagpur. Department: Sales & Business Development Experience Required: 3-5 years (including experience with GEM Portal) About Us At Technoventor Innovations Pvt. Ltd., As a Technical Sales Specialist, the primary responsibility is to serve as the liaison between technology and clients, ensuring that complex technical solutions align with the business needs of the customers. The role encompasses a diverse set of responsibilities. We are currently looking for a dynamic and experienced Technical Sales Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in technical sales and extensive experience working with the Government e-Marketplace (GEM) portal. Key Responsibilities GEM Portal Management: 1. Lead and manage the company’s presence on the GEM portal. 2. Handle all technical and non-technical bids, RFQs, and tenders on the GEM portal. 3. Ensure timely submission of all required documentation and bid responses. 4. Keep track of bid deadlines, tender specifications, and compliance requirements. 5. Monitor and respond to government procurement requests, updates, and notifications through the portal. Sales & Business Development: 1. Identify new business opportunities and prospective clients through the GEM portal. 2. Build and nurture relationships with key decision-makers within government agencies and public sector units. 3. Develop sales strategies to drive business growth in government and public sectors. 4. Conduct market research to identify trends and customer needs, adjusting sales strategies accordingly. 5. Work with internal teams (engineering, operations, and finance) to align sales proposals with technical specifications and pricing. Technical Sales & Product Presentations: 1. Understand and effectively communicate the technical aspects of the company’s products and services to prospective clients. 2. Prepare and deliver technical sales presentations and product demonstrations tailored to government clients. 3. Assist in the development of proposals, ensuring technical feasibility, cost-effectiveness, and customer alignment. 4. Address client technical queries, ensuring a strong understanding of their needs and delivering relevant solutions. Bid Preparation & Submission: 1. Oversee the entire bid lifecycle, including technical documentation, commercial proposals, pricing, and compliance. 2. Ensure all bids submitted are accurate and adhere to government procurement guidelines. 3. Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with government agencies, ensuring favorable outcomes for the company. Customer Relationship Management: 1. Serve as the primary point of contact for government clients, building trust and credibility. 2. Maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring their needs are met post-sale. 3. Follow up on leads, inquiries, and outstanding tenders on the GEM portal. Sales Target Achievement: 1. Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets set by the company. 2. Contribute to the overall growth of the company’s government sector business. Experience:- 1. 3-5 years of experience in technical sales, with a minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience managing the GEM portal. 2. Proven track record of handling government tenders and contracts. 3. Solid understanding of government procurement processes and regulations. Skills 1. Strong knowledge of the GEM portal, including bid preparation, submission, and compliance. 2. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts. 3. Proficient in sales pipeline management and business development strategies. 4. Ability to build strong relationships with government and public sector clients. 5. Strong negotiation and contract management skills. 6. Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
