We cater to global customers and offer a wide range of manufacturing services, including CNC machining, 3D printing and PCB Assembly. Our Industries include Aerospace, Medical, Capital Goods, Automation and Electronics. Job Summary: The Technical Sales Engineer is responsible to drive B2B sales of our on-demand manufacturing services. This role involves identifying and reaching out to potential customers in Aerospace, Medical, Capital Goods, Automation and Electronics industries, showcasing our value additions and manufacturing processes, understanding customers’ technical requirements, recommending suitable manufacturing solutions and driving sale orders for CNC machining, 3D printing and PCB Assembly. The Technical Sales Engineer will provide technical support, prepare quotations, collaborate with internal teams to deliver high-quality, cost-effective solutions. The role requires a blend of technical know-how and client-facing skills to close deals and manage long-term customer relationships. Key Responsibilities: 1. Sales & Business Development Identify and target potential customers in India and overseas markets to generate leads Own the end-to-end sales cycle : Prospecting, Technical consultation, Quote, Closing · Achieve and exceed sales targets by promoting our on-demand manufacturing services. Technical Proposals : Prepare detailed technical proposals / quotations, including process recommendations, material options, and cost estimates. Recommend Solutions : Suggest appropriate solutions to clients’ problem statements. 2. Technical Solutions Understand Customer Requirements : Work closely with customers to interpret technical drawings, material specifications, and production needs. Design for Manufacturability (DFM) : Provide DFM feedback to customers to optimize designs for cost-effective and efficient production. Prototyping Support : Assist customers in prototyping and testing new designs to validate manufacturability and functionality. Market Research : Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies to identify new business opportunities. 3. Customer Success Build long-term relationships with procurement managers, R&D and design teams, mechanical heads, and founders. Follow up with customers to secure repeat business and long-term partnerships. 4. Market Intelligence ● Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies in automating the frontend and engineering tasks. ● Gather customer feedback and share insights with the internal teams to improve our offerings. 5. Reporting and Analytics ● Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM system. ● Prepare regular sales reports and forecasts for management review. Required Skills & Qualifications: 3-6 years of experience in technical sales (manufacturing, industrial parts, or MaaS platforms). Ability to prepare instant quotations for manufacturing of custom parts by using CNC Machining (milling, drilling, etc), 3D Printing, PCB Assembly. Experienced in selling to international customers Engineering mindset: Ability to read CAD (SolidWorks, Fusion 360) and GD&T. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth · Industry knowledge: Familiarity with CNC, 3D Printing, PCB Assembly, Rapid prototyping, Certifications, etc. Experience in an on-demand manufacturing or B2B marketplace environment is a plus. Understanding of material properties and their applications in manufacturing. Soft Skills: Strong negotiations , problem-solving and analytical abilities. Excellent communication and customer relationship management skills. Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize tasks effectively.
