Job Summary:

The Vendor Development and Quality Check Specialist – Precision Manufacturing is responsible to identify, evaluate and onboard high quality manufacturing partners or job shops based out of Bangalore and other cities in South India. This role involves supporting the sales teams, recommending suitable manufacturing solutions and ensuring seamless integration of services such as CNC machining, 3D printing, EDM and sheet metal fabrication.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Vendor Development and Coordination with Manufacturers

• Identification of Manufacturers:

  Assist the Company in identifying and developing manufacturing partners for various manufacturing processes such as CNC machining, 3D printing, EDM and sheet metal fabrication. Such identification may either be linked for a particular enquiry or otherwise keeping in mind the manufacturing processes offered by the Company. Further, assist the Company in onboarding
  such manufacturing partners

  .

• Manufacturer Coordination

  : Work with the marketplace’s network of manufacturers to ensure alignment with customer requirements.

• Technical Liaison

  : Act as the technical point of contact between Company and manufacturers, ensuring clear communication and resolution of technical issues.

• Quality Check

  : Assist the Company in conducting quality checks of the parts produced by the manufacturers, before they are finally shipped to the customers.

2. Technical Support

• Understand Customer Requirements

  : Work with the Company to interpret technical drawings, material specifications, and production needs.

• Recommend Solutions

  : Suggest appropriate manufacturing vendors, processes and materials based on customer requirements along with the necessary tools / moulds required, if any.

• Pre-Sales Support

  : Assist the sales team by providing quick quotations / cost estimates, prepare process chart and cycle time.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Experience:

• 4-6 years of experience in vendor development role related to 

  precision manufacturing

  , 

  CNC machining

  , 

  3D printing

  ,

  automation, rapid prototyping, EDM and sheet metal fabrication

  .
• Experience in an on-demand manufacturing or B2B marketplace environment is a plus.

Technical Skills:

• Deep knowledge of use of

  gauges, verniers, CMM, etc

  to conduct the quality check of the mechanical parts.
• Proficiency in 

  CAD/CAM software

   (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, Mastercam).
• Deep knowledge of 

  manufacturing processes

   (e.g., CNC machining, 3D printing, injection moulding and sheet metal fabrication) and

  GD&T

  .
• Understanding of 

  material properties

   and their applications in manufacturing.
