Technical Sales Engineer

Automobile, Railway, Defence, EV, Infrastructure, Interiors, and Sheet Metal Fabricators

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation and Sales:

    Actively search for and pursue new business opportunities, develop a strong sales pipeline, and close deals to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Technical Consultation:

    Serve as the primary technical contact for customers, understanding their specific needs and providing tailored solutions using our laser and press brake technologies.
  • Product Demonstrations:

    Conduct compelling product demonstrations and presentations both on-site and remotely to showcase the capabilities and benefits of our machines.
  • Customer Relationship Management:

    Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients by providing excellent pre- and post-sales support.
  • Market Analysis:

    Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and new technologies to identify market opportunities.
  • Collaboration:

    Work closely with the engineering, marketing, and service teams to ensure a seamless customer experience and provide valuable market feedback.

Qualifications

  • Education:

    Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Production Engineering.
  • Experience:

    Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in sales, with a preference for experience in capital equipment, industrial machinery, or a related field. Experience with laser technology or sheet metal fabrication is a significant advantage.
  • Technical Skills:

    Strong understanding of engineering principles and a solid grasp of laser cutting, welding, marking, and press brake machine operations.
  • Soft Skills:

    Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills. A problem-solving mindset and the ability to work independently are crucial.
  • Travel:

    Willingness to travel extensively within the assigned territory.
