Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Sales Engineer based in Chennai. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for providing technical support, assisting with troubleshooting, and offering specialized support to customers. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing sales strategies, maintaining customer relationships, and facilitating training sessions. The role involves frequent interaction with clients across various industries to help design and build optimal fluid systems. Responsible for generating sales & services revenue from the assigned territory 1. Account management 2. Generating enquiries and Opportunities 3. Prepare BOM and help customer in product selection 4. Product and capability presentation 5. Handle Techno-Commercial discussion. 6. Co-ordination with Commercial team to clarify customer queries 7. Opportunity pipeline management - Quote Follow up & attend order closure meetings with customer 8. Follow up on receivables 9. Conduct site audits, customer training and demo Qualifications/ Requirements Experience in Sales Engineering and Sales skills ( Min 2 Years Experience) Technical Support and Customer Service skills Strong Communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to solve complex problems and provide innovative solutions Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field Prior experience in the fluid system or related industries is an advantage Willingness to travel as needed within the territory
