Senior Technical Project Manager

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end implementation of SaaS platforms in Pharma R&D and QC Lab environments.
• Develop, track, and maintain detailed project schedules, milestones, and deliverables.
• Establish and manage work breakdown structures (WBS) aligned with agile or spiral methodologies.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams including software engineers, validation specialists, lab analysts, and external vendors.
• Ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and pharma industry best practices.
• Manage project documentation, logs, risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies.
• Facilitate regular stakeholder communications, status updates, and executive briefings.
• Oversee integration between Systems, LIMS, CDS, ELN, and laboratory instruments.
• Monitor resource allocation, timelines, and project costs while ensuring high-quality outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement in project management processes and methodologies.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, Life Sciences, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in project management, with at least 5 years managing SaaS platform implementations.
• Experience working in Pharma R&D or Quality Control or Digital / IT Service provider in laboratory environments.
• Domain knowledge of LIMS, CDS, ELN, and laboratory informatics systems.
• In-depth understanding of SaaS software architecture and cloud-based deployment models.
• Demonstrated expertise in agile and spiral development methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of GxP, data integrity principles, and compliance requirements.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-functional and executive engagements.
• Certified Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent (e.g., PRINCE2, Agile certifications).
