Senior Software Engineer-Node.Js

The role is for a highly skilled Senior Node.js Development Engineer. It is a crucial role and will play a very critical part in developing robust backend applications and components for Scitara s products. It requires collaboration with a dynamic and global team of developers, architects, quality engineering and product management to deliver high-quality products in accordance with Scitara s product vision and architecture. Key Responsibilities Develop Node.js applications using TypeScript, based on specifications and overall product architecture. Implement core services and features that align with the product architecture. Write and maintain clean, efficient, and testable code. Collaborate closely with peer developers, architects, quality engineers, and product management teams on the product development initiatives. Assist the test engineers in identification of test scenarios and development of automation. Actively participate in Agile ceremonies including backlog grooming, sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews and sprint retrospectives. Maintain compliance towards corporate policies on information security, confidentiality of data, and privacy of data. Bachelor/Master of Engineering or equivalent in Computer Engineering, IT or related field. 6 to 10 years of professional experience in development with Node.js, TypeScript, MongoDB, NestJS. Proven expertise in building backend applications based on micro services architecture. Experience with Agile software development practices. Desired Skills Deep expertise in Node.js, TypeScript, Nest.js, MongoDB. Proficiency with source control tools like Git, Bitbucket, Github etc. Hands-on experience with unit test tools like mocha, sinon etc. Knowledge of working with cloud frameworks (AWS, Azure, GCP), container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes), CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Travis). Familiarity with Atlassian suite of tools (Jira, Confluence etc.). Experience in developing or maintaining build pipelines. Experience with informatics applications or GxP compliant applications.
