As a Lead Product Designer , you will: Design and Develop: Create intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for developer tools, extensibility features, and integrations. User Research: Conduct user research to understand the needs and pain points of developers and IT professionals. Collaboration: Collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure that design solutions align with business objectives. Innovation: Drive innovation and explore new design opportunities to enhance the developer experience. Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior designers on the team. Qualifications: Experience: Proven experience in designing developer tools, extensibility features, or integrations. Skills: Strong understanding of UX design principles, including user research, wireframing, prototyping, and usability testing. Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD. Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with development tools and technologies, such as APIs, SDKs, and programming languages. Communication: Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively communicate design concepts to technical and non-technical stakeholders. Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to identify and address design challenges. Use data and research to inform your design decisions and are able to assess the impact of your designs with quantitative and qualitative data. Are comfortable operating in a fast paced environment and ambiguous problem spaces Bonus: Worked in the B2B, HR, Productivity space or tackled issues related to communication systems for knowledge workers. Have a track record in using design thinking to drive cross functional alignment and storytelling. Have experience partnering with Product to envision long term product vision, strategy, and roadmap. Bring a strong sense of empathy and a user - centric approach to design.
