Tech Lead

Responsibilities

Lead architecture and end-to-end development of our SaaS platform (LAMP stack).
Translate business requirements into detailed technical specifications and implementation plans.
Design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance backend and APIs.
Optimize MySQL databases, server configurations, and application performance.
Establish CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and monitoring solutions.
Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and maintain technical documentation.
Collaborate with Product & UI/UX teams to translate requirements into robust solutions.
Coordinate with Android and iOS teams to ensure seamless integration and consistent APIs.
Mentor and manage a small agile team of developers, ensuring timely delivery.

Skills And Qualifications

Strong expertise in
PHP, MySQL, Linux, Apache/Nginx
.
Hands-on experience with
Git, CI/CD, and cloud platforms
(AWS, DigitalOcean).
Knowledge of
performance tuning, caching, and security best practices
.
Familiarity with SaaS product architecture and multi-tenant systems.
Experience with
API integrations, logging, and monitoring tools
.
Ability to work collaboratively with
mobile development teams
(Android/iOS).
Strong problem-solving, system design, and debugging skills.
Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a startup environment.
Hands-on experience translating
business logic into system design and workflows
.

The Ideal Candidate will have:

A graduate or postgraduate degree in Computer Science or IT Engineering
5+ years of work experience developing commercially successful web products
Track record of delivering high-quality, scalable solutions on time.
Ability to mentor and guide a small development team.
Strong understanding of balancing technical debt with new development.
Passion for innovation and ownership of product development.
Proactive approach to solving complex technical challenges.
Commitment to high code quality, security, and performance standards.
Experience coordinating with mobile teams for API and feature integration.
