Role Overview

Tech Sales Specialist

supporting the Sales Director


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a

    sales support to the Director – Sales

    , assisting in end-to-end sales processes, including documentation, follow-ups, and meeting coordination.
  • Meet and engage with

    local clients in the Mohali/Chandigarh region

    to understand their needs, deliver presentations, and support relationship management.
  • Support the Sales Director in managing international client accounts and preparing sales collateral, proposals, and demos.
  • Conduct discovery calls, product walk-throughs, and tailored solution presentations with prospective clients.
  • Maintain a well-organized CRM pipeline and keep internal teams aligned with client progress and feedback.
  • Collaborate with pre-sales, marketing, and product teams to support pitch strategy and conversion goals.
  • Track sales performance, analyze conversion data, and suggest improvements for client engagement.


Required Skills & Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in

    tech/software sales

    , preferably in B2B or SaaS environments.
  • Strong

    verbal and written communication skills

    , with the ability to present to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Excellent

    interpersonal and client-facing skills

    , with a confident and professional presence.
  • Ability to coordinate and support high-level sales functions, including

    deal strategy, lead follow-up, and proposal development

    .
  • Familiarity with CRM tools such as

    HubSpot or Salesforce

    .
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple accounts or tasks simultaneously.
  • Willingness to

    travel locally for client meetings

    and support in-person discussions.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience working closely with sales leadership or in a

    sales support/account executive role

    .
  • Exposure to

    AI/ML or enterprise automation platforms

    is a plus.
  • Experience with international sales engagement, especially US/EU clients, is an advantage.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, or a related field; MBA preferred.
