Your Impact at MyEdSpace As a Tech Lead , you’ll play a pivotal role in one of our product squads. This is a hands-on position involving leadership, mentoring, delivery, and deep collaboration with product managers and designers. Our stack is PHP (backend) and React.js (frontend), and we follow agile principles with a bias for shipping iteratively. What You’ll Be Doing Lead & Mentor a global team of multi-talented engineers fostering a high-performing and collaborative environment. Drive engineering best practices including CI/CD, testing, and code quality Encourage a DevOps mindset own what you build, from idea to production Architect & Deliver high-quality features iteratively with a focus on user impact. Collaborate with AI specialists to power adaptive, personalized learning. Partner Cross-Functionally : Align closely with product and design on goals and execution. Help continuously improve our team’s performance, workflow, and technical excellence What We’re Looking For Senior-level engineering experience in fast-moving, high-change environments Backend expertise (ideally PHP), with some exposure to React.js Strong grasp of software architecture - API-first, async communication, modular design Solid grounding in Agile and Lean practices (Kanban, Kaizen, etc.) Comfortable with cloud infrastructure (AWS) and Docker-based environments Proven track record of building user-centric, polished products Clear, effective communicator with strong English skills Enthusiastic about the potential of AI and LLMs in education A maker’s mindset - entrepreneurial, iterative, and delivery-focused Bonus: Familiarity with UK or US education systems Perks & Benefits Flexible working hours Competitive compensation with significant upside Meeting the team in person in UK (all expenses covered) Access to the latest AI tools & productivity software Global, mission-driven team with a strong sense of purpose Show more Show less
