Team Member - Asset Management

Purpose/Objective

Electrical Engineer ensures reliable operation and optimal performance of electrical systems within ports and SEZs. This role involves designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical infrastructure, including power distribution, lighting, and emergency systems. Responsibilities include overseeing installations and repairs, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and managing energy efficiency initiatives. The Electrical Engineer also conducts inspections, troubleshoots issues, and coordinates with engineering teams and contractors. By maintaining robust electrical systems, the Electrical Engineer supports seamless port operations and enhances the safety and efficiency of SEZ facilities.

Key Responsibilities of Role

Electrical System Optimization: Oversee maintenance of electrical motors and control panels, engage in installation, testing, and repair of electrical systems for seamless functionality. Equipment Maintenance: Ensure calibration of critical instruments, perform maintenance and troubleshooting for various control systems and accessories, and conduct regular inspections to minimize downtime. Health and Safety: Ensure electrical work complies with safety regulations. Uphold high HSE standards with audits, risk assessments, and safety training. Documentation and Reporting: Recommend SOP changes and maintain IMS documentation .Create MIS for breakdowns and maintenance metrics. Resource Management: Manage and deploy electrical maintenance personnel effectively to align with maintenance schedules and project demands. Digital Mindset: Keep up with digital and AI advancements to enhance business and maintain competitiveness. Qualifications and Experience

Educational Qualification: BE/B.Tech in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Work Experience: 5-8 years of relevant experience in electrical maintenance.
