Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and performance-driven Team Leader cum Trainer – Sales to lead a team of sales executives and ensure continuous skill development through effective training. This hybrid role involves driving sales targets while building a competent and knowledgeable sales force through regular coaching and hands-on product training.

Key Responsibilities:Team Leadership:

  • Lead, motivate, and manage a team of retail and/or corporate sales executives.
  • Set daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets and ensure team achievement.
  • Conduct regular team meetings, performance reviews, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Handle escalated customer issues and support team members in complex sales situations.

Sales Training & Development:

  • Train new hires and existing sales staff on product features, selling techniques, and customer handling.
  • Deliver live product demonstrations and roleplay-based training sessions.
  • Keep the team updated on new launches, promotional offers, and industry trends.
  • Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve training modules.

Sales Strategy & Execution:

  • Identify gaps in team performance and implement corrective strategies.
  • Collaborate with sales management to plan and execute local promotional activities.
  • Monitor customer feedback and suggest improvements in product positioning or service.

Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate reports on team performance, training outcomes, and sales targets.
  • Report key metrics to senior management on a regular basis.

Requirements:

  • Graduation in any field; business or marketing preferred.
  • 2–4 years of experience in sales with at least 1 year in a leadership or training role.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes, customer psychology, and wellness product benefits.
  • Willingness to travel for training or sales events.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and CRM systems.
