Team Leader

Key Responsibilities:

• Team Management:
• Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales executives to achieve individual and team sales targets.
• Conduct regular meetings to review performance, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns.
• Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness.
• Sales Strategy:
• Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue and market share growth.
• Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed.
• Set clear sales targets and monitor progress to ensure objectives are met.
• Customer Relationship Management:
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
• Oversee the management of customer accounts and ensure high levels of satisfaction.
• Address customer queries and concerns promptly and effectively.
• Sales Operations:
• Coordinate with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company goals.
• Monitor and manage sales activities and pipeline to optimize performance.
• Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management.
• Business Development:
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets to expand the customer base.
• Represent Ashok Leyland at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the brand and generate leads.
• Compliance and Reporting:
• Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions.
• Provide regular updates and insights on sales performance to senior management.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications can be an advantage.
• Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry.
• Skills:
• Strong leadership and team management abilities.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
• Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions.
• Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
