Key Responsibilities: Team Management: Lead, motivate, and manage a team of sales executives to achieve individual and team sales targets. Conduct regular meetings to review performance, provide feedback, and address any issues or concerns. Train and develop team members to enhance their skills and effectiveness. Sales Strategy: Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue and market share growth. Analyze market trends and competitor activities to adjust strategies as needed. Set clear sales targets and monitor progress to ensure objectives are met. Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders. Oversee the management of customer accounts and ensure high levels of satisfaction. Address customer queries and concerns promptly and effectively. Sales Operations: Coordinate with the marketing and product teams to ensure alignment of sales efforts with company goals. Monitor and manage sales activities and pipeline to optimize performance. Prepare and present sales reports, forecasts, and budgets to senior management. Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities and markets to expand the customer base. Represent Ashok Leyland at industry events, trade shows, and conferences to promote the brand and generate leads. Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all sales activities comply with company policies and regulatory requirements. Maintain accurate records of sales transactions and customer interactions. Provide regular updates and insights on sales performance to senior management. Qualifications: Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications can be an advantage. Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in sales, with at least 2-3 years in a leadership role within the automotive or commercial vehicle industry. Skills: Strong leadership and team management abilities. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth. Ability to analyze data and make strategic decisions. Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
