We are looking for a hands-on Level 3 Application Support Engineer (Sr. Associate) to support cloud-based Tax applications running in Microsoft Azure. This role will be part of a global team responsible for investigating complex issues, supporting deployments, and working closely with developers, operations teams, and end users. The ideal candidate will have 3 years or more of experience in application support and a strong foundation in cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and troubleshooting techniques. You will work in coordination with US-based counterparts and will play a critical role in providing timely support, participating in knowledge transfer sessions, and ensuring continuity across shifts. The position also includes participation in an on-call rotation to provide support during off-hours when needed. We emphasize work-life balance and have a globally distributed support model to minimize overnight load. Key Responsibilities Provide technical support for Azure-hosted Tax applications, ensuring reliability and performance. Investigate and troubleshoot issues, collaborating with operations teams, developers, and users. Use SQL to investigate and analyze application issues. Reproduce issues and document complete user story details to support timely escalation. Assist with CI/CD pipeline troubleshooting and deployments using Microsoft DevOps. Use scripting tools (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python) to automate and streamline support workflows. Work with monitoring tools such as DataDog and Azure Application Insights to detect and resolve issues. Participate in knowledge sharing and documentation of known issues and resolutions. Engage in handover calls and coordinate closely with US support team members. Communicate clearly with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Participate in an on-call rotation for off-hours support. Required Skills And Experience 3 years or more of experience in application support. Experience working with Microsoft Azure PaaS, including Web Apps (.NET, Angular) Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Functions. Strong SQL skills for issue analysis and troubleshooting. Familiarity with Kusto Query Language (KQL) for diagnostics. Experience with Microsoft DevOps and CI/CD pipelines. Scripting experience (e.g., Bash, PowerShell, Python). Understanding of ITIL processes (incident, problem, change management). Experience working with monitoring tools like DataDog and Azure Application Insights. Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work with diverse teams. Ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines. Show more Show less
